As far as Cape Town treasures go, the Adderley Street flower market is at the very top of the list. This century-old market is as synonymous with the Mother City as Table Mountain and Cape Point. The flower market adds vibrancy and colour to our beautiful city – it’s a real gem and a must-visit!

At this famous flower market, you will find anything from proud protea blooms and fynbos to roses in every colour you can think of! You’ll also find the witty and friendly sellers, who are the essence of the market. They keep the tradition of the market alive because many of these sellers have grown up between those exact stalls … I chatted with a seller, and she said she was the third generation of flower sellers in her family. How amazing is that?

So, on a chilly morning, I went there to shoot some beautiful pictures with the new handbag collection from Masch. As many of you might know by now, I am a brand ambassador for this company. Madri started making handmade leather bangs that quickly grew into a proper business. All her bags are still made by hand from high-quality leather, resulting in classic pieces that compliment any outfit. The photographs were taken by the very talented Danelle Stofberg. I love working with Danelle! Ladies, if you need a photographer for your wedding (or any occasion, then she’s the girl for you!).

Us three girls had the so much fun running around the city! If there is a bag that grabs your attention, head over to Masch’s website where you can order any of the products.
